Billy Conklin’s path to the role of Project Manager at CEN started on a long and winding road as a drummer in various bands on the New York City club circuit. Skills with the sticks also include studio recording sessions and teaching private drum lessons where watching students grow & improve is especially rewarding.
This passion for music eventually guided Billy’s journey to the distribution division of Sony Music Entertainment with vast experience in both the physical and digital worlds. He has held such titles as Director of Digital Operations/Deliveries and lead the team in collaborative relationships with independent labels and were responsible for the releases from such artists as Mumford & Sons, Jason Aldean, Alanis Morrissette, Carlos Santana, Motley Crue, BTS, Kelse Ballerini and many more. Outside of music, Billy writes prose and is working on a children’s book as well as being a long suffering Mets fan!
